So, this is our blog. Nicole and I were discussing and we decided that not only should we let you see and read our comic, but you should get a bit of insight on the making of it as well. Neither of us are honestly sure when this beast will get on its way, Nicole is hoping by next week (and so am I) but at the moment we'll do our best to fill you in with any concept art or story information that we can give.
So, to get started, I figure I'll decribe a bit of what our process will be in creating For The Good of Myself. The first step is me writing the story. Obviously Nicole could not draw anything without that. I then very very roughly sketch out the panel pages for the chapter, only to give Nicole a basic idea on the flow and how the speach should be seperate. Everything else, honestly, is up to her.
When I send it to her, ball's in her court. I'll let her describe this process, though.
As for some of the concept art I promised.
This first one was sent to me about a week ago. I had a spasm when she sent it because it was so amazing (the chibi was an exercise for Nicole, a frickin cute exercise):
These two images are of Jae for the banner on the main site (which will be changed... soonish). Nicole drew it, I colored it.
I'll attempt to get Nicole to come in here and post something but this is it for now. I'll post more when I have more info!
